Definition of Diet is actually "eating pattern" which means organizing our diet to be healthier. But which often happens in society is, diet is defined as reducing the food portions and withstand hunger are often believed to lose weight.

And in fact, if you reduce your eating to only 1 or 2 times a day with a very small portion, it will decrease your body weight within 1 - 3 weeks, but do you know what is really going on inside your body?

If you eat very little portions, your body will automatically receive an alarm and will protect you from starvation. Therefore, your body will burn fewer calories and your metabolism will slow down than usual.

And when you already to stop the "diet", then you will eat and eat more than before. Not because you are greedy or gluttonous, but because your body needs more food in order to restore what is lost when you "Diet".

Therefore, what happens is that your weight is down on when the diet, but after you stop the diet, you gain weight again even more than before your diet. Have you ever experienced anything like this?

You also need to know that when you "a strict diet" with the reduce excessive eating and withstand hunger, weight lost from your body is 50% fat and 50% muscle. This happens because fat is the food reserves in the body that will still be stored by the body to survive.

When your body starve, your body is faced with the choice to burn fat or muscle. Because fat is the main energy reserves to survive, then that is burned is a muscle and then fat. But when you stop the diet and obtain your weight back, all you get is 100% fat! Where are your muscles? Of course lost, and must be obtained again with a hard exercise.

Therefore it is very detrimental to you. What's more when you avoid breakfast, not eat breakfast in the morning and then coupled with exercise, which makes you believe you will lose weight. The answer is not necessarily. Reed More
