Migraine | Causes - Treatment

Migraine or vascular headache is a headache with a characteristic namely just on one of the side of head. This condition generally began occurs at the time puberty or early adulthood and is considered to be hereditary.

The cause of migraines is not known with certainty, experts associate this condition with dilation blood vessels thus stimulating nerve endings. Migraine is called chronic if the attacks occur repeatedly, Migraines are generally not dangerous and does not lead to disease or other disorders.
  1. Sleep is the best medicine to relieve migraine, go to sleep in a fairly dark place.
  2. Avoid certain foods especially that many containing tyramine (cheese) or sulfite (wines) or nitrates (nuts, processed meats).
