Vertigo | Causes - Symptoms - Treatment

Vertigo is a condition where the sufferer feels as if rotating or moving or objects around it as if it moves or rotates and is often accompanied by disturbances of balance, nausea, vomiting, pallor and cold sweat.

Usually vertigo caused by vestibular system disorder that serves to maintain the balance of the body including the visual power and control of body movements. Vertigo can be acute, chronic or recurrent.
  1. Avoid consumption of beverages containing caffeine, alcohol and smoking because it can aggravate symptoms of vertigo.
  2. Sleeping with your head propped up on two pillows or more.
  3. Do not change your body position too fast, especially from lying down to sitting or standing position.
  4. When wake up early morning sat for a moment then stand up slowly.
  5. Do not often bend when reaching for an object.
  6. Avoid excessive head movement.
  7. When you feeling the symptoms of vertigo, focus your vision to distant places to help reduce dizziness and nausea.
